Lo Lo Chai – The Fairy Tale Village in the Far North

An extremely beautiful waterfall that few tourists know about! And what’s more surprising is that even the locals here don’t know much about this waterfall. Because many of you will surely doubt the existence of the waterfall, Pai Adventure will provide some more authentic information so you can visualize a little bit about the location and how to approach this waterfall.

The location of this waterfall is in Phin Ty village – Du Tien commune, Yen Minh district, Ha Giang province. Currently, this waterfall does not have an official name, Phin Ty waterfall or Nam Lang hydroelectric waterfall are some of the names that those who have conquered it often call. From the center of Du Gia commune, travel about 13km along the road down to Nam Lang hydroelectric dam, which is under construction, to reach it. The waterfall is located opposite a section of the road leading to the hydroelectric dam and is separated from the road by a stream.

Locating this waterfall is not too difficult, but to access this waterfall is a problem. The road down to the hydroelectric dam is quite bad and rocky. Not to mention, to reach the foot of the waterfall, you have to cross the stream, hike and climb a rather dangerous section, so it will only be really suitable for those who have good driving skills and are not afraid of hard work to explore. On rainy days when the stream water rises, the ability to access this waterfall is almost zero and you will only be able to check in by standing next to the road opposite the waterfall like this.
